ahhh... ok, i'm reluctant enough to say...

she actually has more than one ok song.

i still "officially" dislike her.

but some of her songs are goo-goooo-gooooo... ood.

i didn't say they were good though,

flipflops.

i love the way they sound. youknow. "flip-flop, flip-flop." they SOUND summery.


during the summer, i wear them ev.err.ee.where. and i wear them as far into the fall as i possibly can. which is until about november. and then i start wearing them again in february. that way in my mind there is only a two month gap between summers. it works, i'm tellin' yah.

and they bring warm weather faster. wear them, and it shows the sun how much you love him. which boosts his self-esteem mucho. and he shines down on you. hhhhaaaaaaaaaa. ok, wow. i'm weird.


my dad has some sort of a grudge against them... like seriously. he doesn't like it when his children wear them. he thinks they are bad for your arches, and they'll give you back problems. whaaaat? maybe he is right, but ummm. iliiiikethem. sorry daddy, i still love youuu.

i have three or maybe four pairs. and most of them are falling apart. i needs gets me some more. yessss pleasse.

psalm 16

The other day I was reading Psalm 16, and its deff up there in my favorites.
I was really encouraged by these verses:

"[2] I say to the Lord, 'You are my Lord; I have no good apart from you.'
[4] The sorrows of those who run after another God shall multiply...
[5] The Lord is my chosen portion and my cup; you hold my lot
[8] I have set the Lord always before me; because he is at my right hand I shall not be shaken. [9] Therefore my heart is glad, and my whole being rejoices; my flesh also dwells secure...
[11]You make known to me the path of life; in your presence there is fullness of joy..."


We can find it hard to not put other things before God, and seek after other things for our joy.
But we can find satisfaction and peace for everything in Him alone.
Seeking after things of this world will only end in despair and hunger.
Praise the Lord that he has supplied us access to himself through the Gospel!
