sooo. over the summer i had time to make a lot of cards,

and i thought i should post some pictures of them here.

i had a lot of fun making them.

right now they're all hanging on my wall.

i thumb-tacked some fun twine onto the wall and strung them from there... very good idea actually. thanks mom for helping me out with that! :)

Worthy 2010

ok so back in august our church had its annual youth retreat. for the past eight years we have had it at sandy cove, but for the first time this year, we had it at a new place. north bay was awesome! and it was just ten minutes down the road from where we did it last year.

every year we have dares. garret calls some people down to the front and they have to do something embarresing or gross. the picture above is of a guy from every connect group trying to eat as much spam as he possibly can in a minute.

ewwww.

every morning we had devotions as a connect group. we read a passage out loud together, and then answered questions and had a discussion. it was really encouraging.

of course we played games outside since it was amazingly beautiful. mom was the last person left on our team in dodgeball. :) go mom.

and we did this really fun game that included noodles and "belly-bumpers"

... you don't want to know.

and the classic slide-on-your-stomach-across-a-wet-tarp-and-try-not-to-get-hit-by-balls-thrown-by-the-opposing-team...

and then we had some sort of canoe race thing. justin rowed us right into the pier and we almost capsized. but it was fuuun. :)
